S854 is a one-component heat curing, solvent free sealant based on PVC/acrylate. It can be applied to clean, bare steel or electrocoat and accepts powder paint either cured or wet on wet.
S854 is used in high heat applications (230°C) where resistance to heat degradation and color change is important.
Key Features:
- Adheres well to most E-coated substrates and to oily metal substrates.
- Suitable for powder-coating processes.
- Exposed to moisture at room temperature, the surface is cured after about 5 hours.
- Suitable for sealing different metals, e.g. steel, aluminum, galvanized steel, etc.
- High temperature resistance of 160-220 ºC(320-430°F), no aging and discoloration.
- Spot welding still possible.
- Does not contain solvents or PVC.
- It can be electroplated after pre-curing and has good washability
Typical Applications:
- It is used for bonding clean steel or electrophoresis plate, and can be sprayed with powder paint after wet adhesive or curing.
- It is used for sealing, waterproof, dustproof and anti-corrosion of the inner and outer welds of the car body.

Store product in the unopened container in a dry location
Keep away from heat and direct sunlight.
Store between 5°C and 25°C (41°F and 77°F)
Material is frost sensitive.
Shelf life of product is 9 months.
Material removed from containers may be contaminated during use. Do not return product to the original container. SEPNA cannot assume responsibility for product which has been contaminated or stored under conditions other than those previously indicated.
